Video Monitor Tech - Emergency Department Part-time Evening

Position Purpose

Provides video monitoring services that seek to create a safe and secure environment. Adheres to Mercy One performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with Mercy One mission, vision and values.

Part time

12 Hour Evening Shift

• Observe patients via video monitoring to ensure their safety by observing and reporting behaviors that may compromise safety.
• Ensure client, visitor and staff safety.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.

• 2 FTE;
  Part-time, 16 hours per pay period

• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff and providers while performing their job duties.
• Ability to write complete and accurate department reports.
• Able to deal effectively with stressful/emergent situations and time constraints.
• Demonstrate a cooperative, courteous, dependable working environment with multiple priorities.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills – listening, verbally and written.
• Commitment to a high standard of customer service.
• Plan and organize work to complete in a timely, detailed and orderly manner.
• Establish and collaborate to maintain effective working relationships.
