Radiology - Vascular Tech

Profession: Sonographer

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6 PM - 6 AM)

Experience:

Minimum of 24 months in Sonographer or Vascular capacity is required.

Experience in general and abdomen imaging is required.

Experience in non-high-risk OB/GYN imaging is required.

Experience in vascular imaging is required.

Experience with EPIC EMR is required.

ARDMS certification in abdomen is required.

ARDMS certification in RVT is highly preferred.

ARDMS certification in OB/GYN is highly preferred.

Licenses:

Current driver's license is required.

Certifications:

BLS from the American Heart Association or ARC is required.

Must-Have:

Proficiency in abdomen/RUQ with liver vessel evaluation.

Experience in kidney and bladder imaging.

Experience in pelvic imaging (transabdominal and transvaginal).Experience in first-trimester OB imaging (transabdominal and transvaginal).Testicle/scrotum evaluation skills.

DVT/venous evaluation skills of arms and legs.

Experience with ABIs.Experience in thyroid, aorta, and carotid evaluations.

Limited experience in second/third trimester OB imaging (BPP, measurements, fluid checks).

Description:

We are looking for a skilled Sonographer specializing in vascular imaging.

The position is for night shifts on weekends.

The Sonographer will be responsible for conducting various imaging procedures.

The candidate should have experience with abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging.

Experience in assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures is preferred, but not required.

The Sonographer will work with a diverse patient population.

Proficiency in the use of ultrasound equipment is essential.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are important for this role.

Candidates should be able to deliver quality patient care and perform imaging efficiently.

The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment is essential.

References from recent employment in a similar role are preferred.
