Test Center Technician

Position Title: Test Center Technician

Wage: $20/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6am-2:30pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Test Center Technician for a stable and growing global manufacturing company. This is an associate to hire opportunity with a company in Waterloo, IA that serves essential industries! Test Center Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process customer materials using test center equipment to determine proper processing solutions
- Log in samples and set up testing equipment
- Conduct product testing and document results accurately
- Clean and maintain testing equipment and lab areas
- Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues as needed
- Prepare detailed test reports in a timely manner
- Maintain laboratory files and inventory of supplies
- Support internal teams and customers with technical information
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Test Center Technician Requirements:
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to work in a lab/industrial setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Comfortable handling multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP/SAP systems
- OSHA experience or training is a plus
