Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
$28.50/hr
Monday – Friday, Openings on 1st and 2nd shift
Our staffing agency is currently seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians with one of our respected local partners. This role is designed for a high-energy individual who views safety policies as a foundation, not a suggestion. We are looking for a reliable "fixer" who brings a strong work ethic to the floor every day and takes ownership of equipment uptime and team safety.

- Install, dismantle, inspect, rebuild, align, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot industrial PLC systems including:
Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct and others. - Perform shaft alignments using laser and dial-indicator methods.
- Conduct precision equipment leveling and balancing.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures using systematic root cause analysis methods.
- Interpret blueprints, P&IDs, schematics, ladder logic prints and OEM technical manuals.
- Read and interpret ladder logic diagrams.
- Diagnose PLC input/output faults.
- Replace and configure sensors, switches, relays, contractors and control devices.
- Install, calibrate, inspect and troubleshoot: pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, proximity switches, photo eyes, load cells, VFD systems and industrial instrumentation devices.
- Verify machine safety interlocks and control functions operate correctly.
- Perform work in accordance with all company OSHA safety programs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Formal apprenticeship, industrial maintenance program or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5-10 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, heavy industrial, mining or similar industrial environments preferred.
- Preferred personal tool inventory up to ¾-inch drive capability.
- Lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Climbing ladders and elevated platforms.
- Working in confined areas.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Working in hot, cold, wet, noisy or dusty environments.
- Wearing required PPE including respirators when necessary.
- Performing emergency response activities when assigned.
