Job Details
$3000 Bonus after completion of the program
Bonus paid 3 months after the program completion date.
Classes start August 24th, 2026.
Orientation and date of hire must be completed prior to the class start date above.
RequirementsResume is required and must contain contact information, related work experience, skills, and educational information. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Preference is given to first‑time new hires and to those with prior industrial maintenance experience.
No prior maintenance experience is needed—just a desire to succeed.
How it WorksParticipants attend classes at Hawkeye Community College four days a week, six hours a day Monday–Thursday; attend a 4‑hour study session on‑site at Tyson and work a 12‑hour shift in maintenance.
Selected candidates are hired as full‑time maintenance employees and are eligible for benefits after 90 days.
