Heavy Skilled Operative Waterloo Pork Plant

Job Summary

These positions operate machinery and require heavy lifting to maintain production flow while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Operate saws, skinners, and other equipment to process pork.
• Box handling, palletizing, and operating powered industrial trucks or forklifts to move product.
• Maintain production flow while ensuring a safe work environment and complying with company policies.
• Work in wet, humid environments with temperatures ranging from 35 to 90+ degrees.
• Perform tasks such as climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Lifting consistently 20–110 lbs.
• Possibly work in rendering areas with a dirty environment.

• Minimum 1 month experience operating heavy machinery.
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Willing and able to work in wet, humid conditions from 35 to 90+ degrees.
• Capability to climb ladders, work on elevated platforms, and perform consistent tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting 20–110 lbs.
