Production Lead - 2nd Shift

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the line including safety, quality, and productivity. Other duties include: manage all company safety rules, regulations, and documentation; insure that team is in full compliance and training is up to date and documented; produce all product following production and packaging parameters to insure that quality requirements are maintained and documented; operate all production equipment to maximize line output while maintaining all quality standards;

manage all GMPs, training, supervising, and documenting the team’s performance; clean all equipment in accordance with the SOPs; maintain control of all equipment and tools; follow company policies, procedures written or verbal; other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma, vocational school, or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years’ experience in food manufacturing; mechanical abilities to operate basic hand tools in the disassembly and assembly of dough making handling and packaging equipment; familiar with SOP’s.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Special
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to supervise, manage, build, and lead a team; ability to perform essential functions of job with or without reasonable accommodation; minimum dough making, and back up supervising experience required.
• Physical Requirement:
  Requires 100 flexibility of wrists and hands; walking, bending, standing, and some lifting required; ability to tolerate heights up to 30 feet off the ground on occasion; lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; ability to move heavy objects 100 lbs. with mechanical device.

• Must reside in the United States.

Internal disqualifiers are the following:

• Must not have 4 or more attendance points for locations on an 8 point policy (on application date)
• No written warning in the past six (6) months
• No suspension on record for the last 12 months
