These positions operate machinery, do heavy lifting to maintain production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Applicants must have 1 month of experience operating heavy machinery.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Work environments are wet and humid. Temperatures range from 35 to 90+ degrees. Work may include climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, bending, pushing pulling and reaching, standing and walking on hard floors and consistent lifting of 20-110 lbs. May include working in rendering where environment will be dirty.

Operative jobs require a higher skill level. Work includes operating saws, operate skinners and other equipment to process pork. Box handling and palletizing and operating powered industrial trucks or forklifts to move product.
