Utility Worker
Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Utility Worker to join a local manufacturing team. This position supports production operations by performing general labor tasks, assisting multiple departments, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and willing to assist wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform general labor duties throughout the facility
- Assist production teams with daily operations
- Support workflow across multiple departments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in production areas
- Move materials and supplies as needed
- Follow safety procedures and work instructions
- Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Manufacturing or general labor experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry materials as needed
- Frequent bending, walking, and repetitive movements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
