Plasma Center Nurse - LPN

Position Overview

Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at Bio Life Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. The role reports to the Plasma Center Manager or Assistant Manager and the Center Physician.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, physical examination, and blood testing.
• Manage donor adverse events and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Review laboratory test results, including Serological Protein Electrophoresis.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and refer to the Center Physician for medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health and EHS.
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.

• High school diploma or graduate equivalent in a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Licensed or certified LPN/LVN in the state where responsibilities will be assigned.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State-required basic IV therapy certification.
• Completed FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

$5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Hourly wage range: $24.32 – $33.44 per hour, commensurate with qualifications.

Eligible for up to 80 hours of sick time and 120 hours of paid vacation. U.S. employees may also receive short‑term incentives.
