Family First Homecare, formerly Universal Pediatrics, is hiring compassionate RNs and LPNs to provide 1:1 pediatric private duty care for young clients in East Central Iowa. This is a rewarding role for nurses who value connection, continuity of care, and making a real difference in a child’s life—plus a few extra smiles and hugs along the way.

Locations include, but not limited to:

Hudson, Shell Rock, Sumner, Washburn, and Winthrop, Iowa Available

Shifts:

Days, Nights weekdays, weeknights, weekends

Full-time, PRN and flexible scheduling

Backfill opportunities

Up to 12 hour shifts

Start of Care:

Urgent / Immediate Clinical Acuities May Include:

Medication administration

G-tube/enteral feedings

Oxygen support

Seizure management

Trach and ventilator care Training provided

Compensation:

Hourly wage $2/hour shift differential for shifts worked between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AMPaid weekly

Benefits with full-time hours

What We’re Looking For:

Experience with trach and ventilator care encouraged, but not required

Comfortable managing G-tube feedings (training may be available)
Reliable, attentive, and committed to consistent scheduling

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accountable for providing care that is based on licensure/certification within the scope of practice

Maintains an updated clinical record on each patient at all times, meeting required deadlines for documentation

Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing service to the patient and family on an ongoing basis
