Advanced Practice Provider - Family Medicine
Mercy One Northeast Iowa - Waterloo, IA
Mercy One Northeast Iowa is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our established Family Medicine Clinic in Waterloo, Iowa. Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality primary care to patients of all ages
* Conduct patient assessments, perform examinations, and manage chronic and acute conditions
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop treatment plans
* Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
* Deliver patient education and preventive health guidance
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
* Participate in quality improvement and clinic initiatives
Qualifications
* ARNP or PA-C with current Iowa licensure (or ability to obtain)
* Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or relevant specialty
* Previous primary care experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply
* Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient-centered mindset
