As a Stepdown RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced setting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications and managing drips such as heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin
• Monitoring and interpreting EKG/ECG rhythm strips and dysrhythmia reads
• Floating across Med Surg, Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and post-procedural areas as needed
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilizing EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and patient management

Requirements for this role include:

• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
• Current AHA or ARC ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• De-Escalation Certificate (preferred, can be obtained during onboarding)
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate (nice to have, can be obtained during onboarding)
