Ortho Neuro Acute Care RN – Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Position Purpose

Our 20-bed unit at Waterloo Medical Center specializes in the care of orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery and neuro medical patients. This unit was designed with patients and families in mind; wellness rooms are safer, featuring a pull‑out bed for families and private lobby space for visitors.

Full time

12 Hour Night Shift (7p‑7a), every third weekend rotation

Day Time, Nights, Ortho Neuro RN

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.

• Current IA RN license.
• BSN preferred.
