As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process. EMR - EPIC OT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.25x OT billed after 40 hrs/week regardless of weekly guarantee NBO: 8 hrs. This is not a PACU position! This is a Med-Surg need! 28-bed unit caring for post-operative surgical patients.

Nurses are trained to read telemetry strips and take care of cardiac drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lasix, Insulin, etc. We have state-of-the-art bedside monitors in every patient room to facilitate the care of the patients. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 on day shift and 1:4/5 on night shift.

Submission requirements: 2 years of Med Surg experience including post op experience. Tele strip reading experience encouraged. Hospital experience strongly desired.

Certification requirements: BLS (AHA).

State license requirements:
Iowa Compact allowed.
