As a Cook at Mercy One, you will prepare high quality, safe foods for staff, visitors, patients, customers and physicians.  Adheres to Mercy One's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of Mercy One.

+ Prepares food according to guidelines.

+ Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

+ Operates, cleans and sanitizes equipment.

+ Supplies high quality and attractive food

+ Assists supervisor in ordering JIT foods/supplies.

** General Requirements:*
* + Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff and physicians while performing their job duties

+ Minimum of 1 year food service experience or a combination of formal education and experience beyond high school.

+ Intermediate language, intermediate math, intermediate reasoning ability.

+ Ability to maintain a professional positive image and to work effectively with the public.

+ Ability to maintain a fast pace of work.
