Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Waterloo, IA

Contract | Days | Every Other Weekend or Weekend Package Options Available

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work day shift hours
• Availability to work holidays including Memorial Day or 4th of July as required

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

• Flexible scheduling options including every other weekend and weekend package arrangements
