You will assess, monitor, and treat patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs, document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and use de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions.

To qualify, you need an active Iowa RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least one year of recent psychiatric or mental health nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Recommended skills include strong communication, empathy, adaptability, critical thinking, and proficiency with EMR systems.
