Schedule Day shift position: 7:00am-7:00pmWorks every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday
Location
Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, IAWhat You'll DoProvide nursing care for up to 6 patients in our inpatient Hospice Home.
Deliver compassionate end-of-life care focused on comfort, dignity and quality of life Assess patients physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs
Participates in developing individualized care plans
Educate and support patients, caregivers and families
Qualifications Required Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn work-related software
Valid Iowa driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Two years of recent nursing experience
Previous hospice, home health, palliative care, or related nursing experience
Physical Requirements Ability to move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
Pre-employment/post-offer physical, TB, and drug screen required
