Associate Veterinarian – Waterloo, IA

Den Herder Veterinary Hospital in Waterloo, IA, is a proud AAHA‑Accredited practice dedicated to providing the highest standard of veterinary care. We are seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our small‑animal medicine team and make a measurable impact on patient lives.

What Your Day‑to‑Day Looks Like
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets, becoming their trusted partner in lifelong health.
  • Lead patient care from diagnosis to treatment while maintaining the highest standards of medicine.
  • Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly, empowering clients to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with a supportive paraprofessional team and contribute to a positive hospital culture.
Who We’re Looking For
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • Valid state license in good standing.
  • A collaborative spirit and dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
