Operations Specialist

Lanehaven Farms is a progressive seed corn, commercial grain, organic grain and hog farm based in Northeast Iowa. We are hiring an Operations Specialist
. In this role, you’ll have a variety of responsibilites providing operational support to the Lanehaven Farms organization.

General Farm assistant for a variety of farm work including:

• Operate equipment and assist with field work.
• Assist with farm and shop projects.
• Assist with equipment maintenance projects.
• Assist in keeping all farm facilities and yards clean and organized.
• Assist in keeping all vehicles and machines clean inside and out.
• Assist with operating feed mill and deliver feed in an efficient and safe manner.

• Agriculture experience, including operatoin farm equipment preferred
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass vehicle insurance verification.
• CDL preferred.
• Private pesticide applicators license or the ability to get one.
• Attentive to detail, self-motivated, organized, and able to work without direct supervision
• Plans thoroughly, problem solves and makes sound decisions
• Honest, trustworthy, and passionate
• Effective communication and writing skills
• Listens to others and builds relationships to foster teamwork
• Thirst for knowledge!
