• Embrace and promote the company’s customer service initiatives.
• Greet walk-in customers promptly and with a friendly attitude, guiding them in selecting the right merchandise.
• Assist managers and installer service specialists in catering to professional customers as needed.
• Complete relevant company training to enhance your skills for the position.
• Provide outstanding phone service by answering inquiries, accurately identifying parts, quoting prices, and suggesting premium items while upholding our Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain a secure cash drawer, managing transactions including cash, checks, and credit cards responsibly.
• Process exchanges and returns smoothly, adhering to company policies.
• Handle customer complaints effectively and with a friendly demeanor.
• Collaborate with the team to complete daily operational tasks including inventory management, freight receipt, stocking, and store upkeep.
• Prepare merchandise returns for shipment to the distribution center and assist in inventory counts.
• After receiving proper training, operate store test equipment, including a brake lathe.
• Provide in-store services in compliance with state and local regulations, such as installing wipers and testing batteries.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle for customer deliveries, ensuring a good driving record.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Required:
• Strong aptitude for matching alphanumeric sequences.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a warm and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask, managing customer interactions both in-store and over the phone.
• Desired:
• Familiarity with automotive parts, sales, and service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
