Position #R-2515633 – Tire and Battery Center (TBC) associate. Earn $19.00–$27.00 per hour (shifts may vary). Responsible for maintaining safety and organization of the sales floor, delivering high‑quality member service, and driving sales of tires, batteries, and related accessories. Requires a valid state‑issued driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Maintain facility and sales floor safety and standards by conducting regular safety sweeps and following forklift, hazardous material, and company steel standards.
• Ensure the TBC sales floor is organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised according to company policies, handling claims, returns, shrink, and damages.
• Present and maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, and signing and pricing merchandise.
• Monitor tire and battery orders daily, assist members with installation appointments, communicate lead‑time changes, cancellations, and alternative suggestions.
• Assist members with tire maintenance and repair services, providing expert recommendations and explaining warranties.
• Drive sales and service excellence by communicating the value of merchandise and services and collaborating with club associates to promote TBC offerings.
• Triage and prioritise service workflow in the TBC service bays, referring to Sam’s Garage, prioritizing appointments, and recommending actions to the Team Lead or technicians.
• Leverage technology (digital tools, handheld devices) to plan sales, improve the service experience, make real‑time business decisions, and encourage adoption of new tools.
• Operate TBC equipment safely and correctly, receive, store, and dispose of merchandise and supplies, and maintain required documentation.
• Process member purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, using the Open Door Policy and applying standards of integrity and compliance in all business processes.
• Communicate progress, recommendations, and improvement opportunities, adapt to changes, and learn from feedback.
• Assist in training team members, influence peers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high‑quality service.

• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• Minimum age 18 years or older.
• Preferred:
  Experience in auto service industry and/or retail.
