Merchandising Lead

Hourly wage range: $21.00 to $29.00. Additional compensation may be paid in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.

Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, providing guidance and support regarding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues, and promoting the company’s products and services. Assists management with supervision of associates by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, providing direction and guidance on member service techniques to resolve complaints, ensuring compliance with company policies, supporting the Open Door Policy, recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting coaching, and evaluating associates.

Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise, organizes and maintains the sales floor using equipment and merchandising standards, completes paperwork logs and documentation. Maintains safety of facility, conducts safety sweeps, follows forklift and hazardous-material handling procedures, reports unsafe situations. Ensures maintenance of sales floor and merchandise presentation, handles claims, returns, zoning, stocking, arranging and organizing merchandise, cleaning product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, identifying shrink damage.

Monitors food and merchandise quality, ensures product rotation, code dating, recalls, sanitation standards. Oversees picking and staging of club pick-up orders. Communicates and implements processes to meet business needs, analyzes information, monitors progress, identifies improvement opportunities, ensures compliance with ethics and integrity standards, corrects ethical and compliance issues, leads teams, shares resources, determines customer needs, coordinates assignments, provides advice and support for timelines and quality.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience and 6 months customer service experience.

• Leading a team, supervising experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others.
