Commercial Roofing Specialist​/Low Slope

Position: Commercial Roofing Specialist/Low Slope (140)
ABC Supply, the nation’s largest distributor of exterior building products, is seeking an experienced, motivated Commercial Roofing Specialist to join its team. ABC Supply has been the recipient of the Gallup Great Workplace Award for 20 consecutive years and is proud to be an employee-first  this role, you will drive sales through lead generation of upcoming commercial roofing projects, assist in the estimating process for our customers, and facilitating takeoffs.

This position will enhance the service we provide to our customers while taking our sales to the next level.

Specific duties may include:

Utilizing resources, such as construction reports, to learn when commercial construction projects are coming to bid Interpreting and reading blue prints

Completing estimating duties and facilitating takeoffs through Tapered Solutions Maintaining current pricing from the manufacturers

Using expert application, installation and product knowledge to successfully meet goals

Maintaining and conveying all relevant competitive sales knowledge directly to management

Making recommendations and working closely with the Branch Manager to ensure acceptable margin levels

Utilizing lead generation programs to identify potential projects by market

Maintaining upcoming bid lists

Cultivating customer relationships and industry contacts within the market

Specific qualifications include:

Valid Driver’s LicenseA minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in commercial roofing sales/ low-slope roofing

Familiar with EPDM, TPO, PVC, Mod-Bit.

Experience with Taper+ and StackCT estimating software preferred

Experience with standing seam metal roofing preferredA solid understanding of commercial roofing products and procedures

Basic computer skills as well as experience with estimating software is a plus

Experience with takeoffs

Excellent communication skills

Detail-oriented and self starting
