As a Security Officer - Full Time in Waterloo, IA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post, with responsibilities that may include vehicle patrols to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $19.26 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thu 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access as directed, and support established screening and documentation procedures for the location.

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
