This position supports commercial construction projects by assisting skilled trades, maintaining jobsite organization, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

It’s well suited for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, learning new skills, and being part of a team that builds meaningful structures for local communities.

• Assist with daily construction activities including site cleanup, material handling, and basic carpentry support

• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and building materials

• Operate basic hand and power tools safely

• Support concrete, steel, and carpentry crews as directed

• Follow all safety procedures and participate in jobsite safety meetings

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

• Perform additional duties as needed to support project progress

• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred but not required

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions

• Reliable transportation to job sites

• Commitment to safety and teamwork

• Team sizes typically range from 3–10 crew members

• Standard schedule:
  Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM — 4:00 PM

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterloo, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $25.00/hr.
