Now Hiring: 1st Shift Industrial Electrician (Direct Hire)

Location: Waterloo, IA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team at a well‑established manufacturing facility. In this direct‑hire role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems that keep production running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and a stable first–shift schedule, this could be an excellent fit.

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues involving wiring, motors, sensors, PLCs, and control systems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
• Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities accurately
• Recommend and assist with improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost savings

• 3–5 years of hands‑on industrial electrical experience
• Strong PLC troubleshooting experience
• Proficiency with VFDs, motor starters, control panels, and industrial sensors
• Experience working with electrical systems up to 480V
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
• Solid understanding of industrial electrical safety practices

• Journeyman Electrician license or relevant technical certification
• Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, motors, and pneumatics
• Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Preventive maintenance and advanced troubleshooting experience

This is a Permanent position based out of Waterloo, IA.

The pay range for this position is $63,000.00 – $80,000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Waterloo, IA.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 13, 2026.
