Conagra Brands is seeking a Utilities Maintenance Technician to support reliable, efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. In this on-site role, you will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot utilities systems including boilers, compressed air, refrigeration, water, and HVAC. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and document work in our CMMS. Partnering with operations, engineering, and safety, you will help drive continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and equipment reliability in a fast-paced, food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, operate, and maintain plant utilities systems including boilers, compressed air, refrigeration, water, and HVAC to support manufacturing operations
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control components of utility equipment to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures using diagnostic tools and technical documentation, resolving issues safely and efficiently
  • Document maintenance activities, work orders, and parts usage in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  • Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, and company standards) while working on utilities systems
  • Participate in root cause analysis and improvement projects to enhance utilities performance, energy efficiency, and reliability
  • Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new or upgraded utilities equipment and systems
