Housing Resource Specialist
The Housing Resource Specialist supports program operations by filling gaps across housing and supportive service programs to ensure continuity of services and compliance with funding requirements. The Housing Resource Specialist carries a caseload to deliver case management and supportive services that promote housing stability. This position also supports additional program needs as assigned to ensure responsive and efficient service delivery.
Key Roles & Responsibilities

What You Will Do:
- Fill operational gaps across programs to ensure continuity of services and meet funding requirements
- Assist with assessment coverage, including responding to inquiries and connecting callers to appropriate services
- Manage an assigned caseload and provide case management and supportive services to promote housing stability
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, referrals, participant interactions, and other documentation requirements
- Support the efforts of all programs in navigating housing options and resources for those affected by homelessness
- Represent FOF at community and program development meetings as assigned.
- Travel throughout the FOF service area to provide in-person, in-home, advocacy services and to other locations within the state as necessary for training purposes.

Job Qualification and
Competencies:
- Must demonstrate ability to organize, prioritize and plan work to meet deadlines.
- Ensure confidentiality is in place for all people FOF serves.
- Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, related field OR combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Previous experience in the following preferred: victim services, crisis intervention, housing programming, and/or case management.
- Ability to travel throughout the FOF service area to provide in-person advocacy services and to other locations within the state as necessary for training purposes.
- Ability to pass state, federal, and child abuse background checks.
