As an Embedded Software Engineer for John Deere Tractor Software Teams located in Waterloo, Iowa , you will develop software within the drive strategy team working on innovative, high visibility projects transforming agriculture. Our team is committed to designing innovative solutions that unlock customer value through balancing overall efficiency with productivity to meet customer needs. You will have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to every aspect of the product development lifecycle.

• Develop embedded software in MATLAB Simulink and C as part of a global team executing drive strategy.
• Be responsible for testing software in multiple environments HIL, SIL, and VIL.
• Be responsible for collaborating with system engineers to design software that meets customer needs.
• Be responsible for tuning vehicle performance to achieve efficiency and productivity goals.
• Analyze issues and drive for resolution of issues found during lab and field testing

• Experience with software product development through practical work experiences, relevant internships or academic experience
• Demonstrated exposure to developing embedded applications using MATLAB Simulink and
  
  C.
• Demonstrated exposure to working on and troubleshooting control systems.
• Demonstrated technical problem solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working in a global team environment.
