National Grid is seeking a skilled engineer to maintain, repair and overhaul equipment across substations, predominantly outdoors and sometimes will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including stripping and rebuilding components, fault diagnosis, and installing refurbished equipment.
Based in the Solent area, the role includes training at the Eakring Training Centre and occasional stays away from home with mobility allowances.
