• Support the teaching and learning in creating an engaging learning environment that fosters academic and spiritual growth, develops elementary students’ developmental skills, and a love of learning.
• Implement lessons created by the classroom teacher that address students’ spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
• Use diverse instructional techniques such as modeling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing.
• Encourage children to develop self‑help skills and independence.
• Support the classroom teacher with adapting curriculum to meet individual learning needs.
• Promote positive behavior through redirection, positive reinforcement, and adherence to the school’s behavioral policies.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff.
• Assist students who may need additional support.

• Minimum 2 years of successful assisting in a classroom setting.
• High school degree required.
• Demonstrated ability to lovingly engage young learners.
• Strong understanding of early childhood developmental stages.
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and faith‑based environment.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing.
