Description
Job SummaryThe Production Assistant plays a versatile role, providing support across various production departments as needed. Responsibilities may include tasks such as screen reclaiming, screen printing, racking, lamination, inspection, waste stripping, de-slugging, custodial work, and other general production duties. This role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established work order instructions and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Learn and follow work order instructions and quality standards.
- Assist in various production processes across multiple departments.
- Inspect, waste strip, and package parts according to specifications.
- Verify color, registration, and print quality during production inspections.
- Report discrepancies and imperfections to the appropriate team member.
- Operate de-slugging machines and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support production goals.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities but is expected to adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and applicable laws while carrying out job duties.

Required Skills & Competencies:- Minimum HS Diploma/GED.
- Ability to understand and follow work order instructions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to count and apply basic math skills.
- Above-average hand-eye coordination for precise work.
- Strong attention to detail for inspection and quality control.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 months of related experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong judgment of color, design, and print quality.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor problems in standard situations.
