We are seeking an experienced Operations/Production Manager to lead high-volume injection molding and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for driving production performance, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and employee development while ensuring world-class safety, quality, and delivery performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven operations leader with experience in injection molding, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and leading large production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do- Lead daily operations within a high-volume injection molding and manufacturing environment
- Drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance across the value stream
- Manage production schedules, capacity planning, staffing, and machine priorities to meet customer demand
- Lead and develop operators, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and cross-functional teams
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and execute cost reduction projects and eliminate non-value-added activities
- Improve labor efficiency, on-time delivery, and overall manufacturing performance
- Establish KPIs and utilize metrics to drive data-based decision making
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and PDCA problem-solving activities
- Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, and capital improvement projects
- Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve plant objectives
- Drive employee engagement, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement
- Create business cases and identify future investment opportunities to improve operations
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field preferred
- 5+ years of leadership experience in injection molding operations
- Demonstrated success leading Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives
