Mold Maker - Injection Molding

Forum Contract Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and skilled Mold Maker to support the construction, maintenance, repair, and modification of injection molding tooling. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on machining and mold‑making experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and complete tooling projects efficiently.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Hard‑working, dependable, and accountable
  • Experienced in injection molding tooling and mold making
  • Skilled in building, repairing, maintaining, and modifying injection molds
  • Experienced with CNC machining, milling, grinding, EDM, and conventional machining equipment
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting tooling drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications
  • Experienced with mold components, inserts, slides, lifters, ejector systems, and hot runner systems
  • Skilled at troubleshooting tooling issues and identifying root causes
  • Able to perform mold maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • Detail‑oriented and capable of holding tight tolerances
  • Comfortable using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tooling projects and priorities
  • Comfortable working with urgency while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • A strong communicator who works well with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance
  • Comfortable asking questions and seeking assistance when needed
  • Willing to tackle challenging tooling issues and develop practical solutions
  • Committed to safety, quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Willing to learn new machining, tooling, and manufacturing technologies
