Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Nurse (RN) / OR Surgical RN to join our team in Watertown, CT. In this role, you will provide expert perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment.

• Preparing patients for surgery by assessing their health status and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety
• Assisting surgeons and surgical team members during procedures with sterile techniques and equipment management
• Monitoring patient vital signs and maintaining anesthesia levels as needed
• Ensuring strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Documenting all surgical activities accurately and thoroughly
• Providing post-operative care and patient education for recovery at discharge
