You will be assisting our drivers in a brand new 26” straight frame Peterbilt 220 to deliver fully assembled kitchen cabinets to the homes of our valued customers. The role is typically Monday to Friday with no overnight stays. You will start approx. 05:00am and deliver to addresses across the tri-state along the East Coast from NY, CT and PA. On average we will deliver 5 – 9 drops per vehicle.

• Work as part of a two-person delivery team to ensure all deliveries are of high standard
• Take extra care with products to ensure goods are delivered damage free
• Constantly communicate with the transport office regarding daily activities
• Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding delivery service and safety at the workplace
• Lift 50lbs frequently on a daily basis
• Pull pallets weighing up to 2500lbs
• Pull and/or push hand trucks up to 500lbs
• Climb in and out of tractor 10-15 times per day
• Walk and carry these weights for up to 8 hours per day for various numbers of hours in the tractor during traffic on a regular basis
• Assist the driver with safely stacking or loading, as well as using a loaded hand truck

• Excellent communication skills
• Good time management

• Has experience in the ‘Home Delivery’ service
• Reliable, trustworthy, have good concentration, knowledge of routes and geography
