Senior Accountant

$90K–$100K A growing, private equity-backed organization in Watertown is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the close, working across multiple areas of accounting, and gaining exposure to a growing operational business.

• Take ownership of key areas of the month-end close and financial reporting process
• Gain exposure to operational accounting, forecasting, analysis, and process improvement
• Opportunity to help strengthen accounting processes as the company continues to scale

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances
• Maintain supporting schedules, bank reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation
• Assist with cash forecasting, financial analysis, and special accounting projects
• Partner with AP, AR, and operational teams to improve processes and resolve accounting issues

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong GAAP, general ledger, accrual accounting, and month-end close experience
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions
• Experience with in construction, project-based services, field services, or a similar environment is a plus
