The district is seeking one or more Auditorium Site Managers to provide on-site oversight of the auditorium during scheduled use by outside organizations. Individuals may sign up for available assignments on a per-event basis. This is not a regularly scheduled position; work hours will vary based on the auditorium-use schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Attend assigned outside-organization events and serve as the on-site district contact.
- Oversee the appropriate use of auditorium equipment, including the sound system, lighting, projector, screens, microphones, and related technology.
- Assist users with basic operational needs and communicate district expectations for equipment and facility use.
- Monitor equipment use to help prevent damage, loss, misuse, or unauthorized adjustments.
- Ensure that equipment is powered down, secured, and returned to its proper condition following each event.
- Confirm that the auditorium, stage, seating areas, and related spaces are left clean and orderly.
- Address routine questions or needs from the outside organization during the event.
- Report equipment concerns, damage, safety issues, policy violations, or technical problems promptly to the Director of Instructional Technology or other designated district administrator.
- Complete any required event, incident, or equipment-use documentation.
- Follow all training, procedures, and expectations established by the Director of Instructional Technology.
- Working knowledge of basic audiovisual technology, including sound systems, microphones, lighting, and projection equipment.
- Ability to learn and follow district procedures for auditorium technology and equipment.
- Strong communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Availability to work assigned events, including evenings and weekends.
- Part-time, per-event position; hours vary based on approved facility use events.
- Events typically occur on weekday evenings and weekends.
- Compensation: $75 per event; $18.75 per hour after four hours.
- Perform all other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Technology.
