Student Teacher/Practicum Student

Temporary position in Primary, Secondary departments at Watertown Public Schools. Reports to Supervising Teacher. Unpaid salary range.

• Is under the general direction of a certified teacher or principal, providing classroom preparation and small group instruction
• Is involved with understanding and delivery of student individualized education programs
• May attend parent conferences and faculty meetings
• Is an active participant in the school community
• Communicate clearly and effectively with your cooperating teacher
• Consistent, reliable and punctual attendance is essential for supervision and instruction of the student

• Is currently enrolled in a college/university program leading to educational licensure and/or additional credentialing in education.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
