Position: Lunch Aide

Location:Hosmer School

Type: Part Time
- School Year

Hours:10:15 am to 1:45 pm (3.5 hours per day)

Pay:$ 17.95 per hour

Reports to: Assistant Principal

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of lunch periods
• Assist in the delivery of lunches
• Assure the safety of students during lunch periods both inside and outside of the school building
• Assist in the clean up of the lunch areas at the end of lunch periods
• Ensure the cleanliness of tables and surrounding areas during and between lunch periods.
• To sweep under tables between lunches.
• To assist students with cleaning up spills on tables and floors.
• To look for and clean spills around garbage cans and other areas that can create slip hazards.
• Communicate with custodial staff for larger spills
• Replace trash cans, or provide additional supplies
• Other duties as assigned by the building department

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Experience working with children is required
• Required criminal history background check
• Successful candidates must be organized and patient
