The Senior Program Manager will lead the development, execution, and management of project plans across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. This role will coordinate technical activities, communicate project status and risks to leadership, and ensure programs remain aligned with operational and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and problem-solver with experience managing complex projects in a pharmaceutical or CDMO environment.
Responsibilities- Lead cross-functional project coordination and communication in partnership with technical project leads.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project timelines, deliverables, milestones, and risks.
- Facilitate project team meetings, assign action items, and maintain accountability.
- Manage multiple programs to ensure goals, schedules, and commitments are achieved.
- Identify and proactively resolve project risks, issues, conflicts, and interdependencies.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
- Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and systems.
- Provide clear project updates, escalations, and recommendations to site leadership.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related activities and issues.
- Support strategic growth initiatives and operational objectives.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO environment.
- 2–3 years of management or team lead experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical or scientific project teams.
- Strong project planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including communication with senior leadership.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
