Position: Electro‑Mechanical Service Technician (Food Manufacturing)
Ready to be the go‑to problem solver on the plant floor?

Do you thrive tracing faults with a schematic in one hand and a multimeter in the other? Can you diagnose a conveyor issue, service a forklift, and still make time to complete preventive maintenance—without missing a beat? If you can troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs (no coding required), work safely to GMP and OSHA standards, and partner closely with Production to protect safety and glove quality, this role is for you.

Role snapshot

Keep large‑scale mixers, large‑scale blenders, belt ovens, and conveyor belts in top condition.

Execute plant‑wide preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.

Install, debug, and stabilize new and existing equipment.

Support the warehouse by servicing forklifts and performing lift truck repairs.

Collaborate with Production on safety and quality concerns and resolve them quickly.

Record maintenance data—work orders and time cards—per the Maintenance Manager’s direction.

Identify and report equipment concerns promptly to the Maintenance Manager.

Work overtime assignments when required and handle related duties as assigned.

Your background

Associate degree in Maintenance Technology or equivalent education, experience, and training.
1–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs; programming not required.

Knowledge of maintenance best practices, OSHA safety, and common maintenance terminology.

Team‑focused communicator with a track record of collaboration.

Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and production needs in a food environment.
