Mid‑shift, the warehouse calls—one of the forklifts needs service—and you get it safely back in rotation. When new equipment lands, you help install, debug, and stabilize it. Throughout the day you sync with Production, tackling safety and quality concerns together and aiming to improve equipment reliability and glove quality. Before clocking out, you record your work orders and time cards as directed by the Maintenance Manager, note equipment concerns, and prepare for any overtime assignments that pop up.
What you’ll take on Perform maintenance on large‑scale mixers, large‑scale blenders, belt ovens, and conveyor belts in production.
Support the warehouse with forklift service, including lift truck repair and maintenance.
Execute preventive maintenance routines across all production machinery.
Install, debug, and stabilize plant equipment as needed.
Collaborate with Production to address quality and safety issues.
Record work orders and time cards to monitor equipment performance per the Maintenance Manager.
Identify and promptly report equipment concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
Participate in overtime assignments as required.
Handle related duties and projects as assigned.
What you bring
Associate degree in Maintenance Technology (or equivalent education, experience, and training).1–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge of PLCs and VFDs—no programming required; troubleshooting is key.
Solid grasp of maintenance best practices, OSHA safety, and maintenance terminology.
Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and production needs in a food manufacturing environment.
