SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and scientifically rigorous DMPK leader to partner across chemistry, biology, and computational teams to enable our discovery portfolio and modality platform. This individual will apply deep ADME/PK expertise, mechanistic disposition insights, and translational modeling to guide modality design, compound optimization, drug delivery, and program advancement. The role spans early hit identification through candidate selection and IND‑enabling studies and requires strong collaboration, scientific judgment, and clear communication.

This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Watertown, MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive DMPK strategy across programs and the modality platform; embed ADME/PK principles into design and optimization.
  • Develop DMPK approaches for nontraditional modalities.
  • Lead in vitro ADME, mechanistic metabolism, transporter, and DDI assessments.
  • Direct in vivo PK and translational PK/PD modeling, dose projections, and exposure–response understanding.
  • Partner with medicinal chemistry to guide design through DMPK‑driven insights.
  • Oversee bioanalytical strategy and sample analysis.
  • Collaborate broadly across discovery to support platform innovation.
  • Manage CROs delivering ADME, PK, bioanalysis, and early DMPK/safety studies.
  • Communicate findings to leadership, support BD/board materials, and contribute to IND documentation.
  • Mentor and develop DMPK staff and scientific partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with 10+ years of industry experience in DMPK
    , including time in a Bio Pharma (large or mid‑size) environment
    , with biotech or small/mid‑size company experience strongly preferred
    .
  • Demonstrated success enabling discovery programs and emerging modalities from early stages through IND‑enabling studies
    .
  • Deep expertise across in vitro ADME
    , in vivo PK
    , metabolism, transporters, and PK/PD modeling
    , with strong mechanistic and translational insight.
  • Experience with nontraditional modalities is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, time‑line‑driven environment
    , balancing scientific rigor with rapid decision‑making.
  • Effective communicator and matrix collaborator; publication/patent record a plus.
