Role:
Senior scientific leader responsible for guiding Acrivon's drug discovery and translational science efforts, focusing on precision medicines utilizing phosphoproteomics and AI-driven platforms. Objectives include advancing pipeline candidates from target evaluation through IND and Phase 2 trials, with a strong emphasis on pathway-based drug discovery and biomarker development.
- leading cross-functional teams in biology, pharmacology, DMPK/tox, and clinical translation;
- analyzing complex phosphoproteomic data to elucidate mechanisms of action;
- making critical development decisions.
- PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent in life sciences;
- 15+ years (VP) or 20+ years (SVP) biotech/pharma R&D experience with proven leadership, especially in small-molecule oncology programs;
- strong expertise in OMICS data, proteomics, pathway mapping, and translational science;
- excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
High Value: focus on small-molecule inhibitors (ACR-368, ACR-2316), late-stage development (Phase 2, IND-enabling), oncology and potentially immunology; experience with high-throughput phosphoproteomics, AI platforms, and translational biomarker strategies.
Work Setupon-site in Watertown, MA, with collaborative ties to Lund, Sweden; full-time presence required, with availability for urgent matters.
