Watertown, NY | Full-Time | $90,000–$120,000 + Bonus

A well-established general contractor specializing in commercial and government construction, including schools, municipal buildings, renovations, and new construction. The company provides services across carpentry, concrete, painting, and general construction and has built a strong reputation for quality work and long-term growth.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to prepare estimates and bids for federal, state, and commercial projects ranging from $100K to $7M.

The ideal candidate will have design-build experience, strong knowledge of construction divisions, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents
• Prepare labor, material, and equipment estimates
• Prepare and submit competitive bids
• Develop scopes of work for subcontractors and vendors
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Level bids and verify scope and cost accuracy
• Manage multiple bids and deadlines
• Assist with value engineering and project handoff
• Maintain estimating and historical cost information

• 5+ years of commercial and/or government estimating experience
• Design-build experience required
• Strong knowledge of construction divisions, materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing
• Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings
• Engineering background preferred

Preferred:
Sage Timberline, Primavera, and Bluebeam experience.

• $90,000–$120,000 salary
