Job Title

Animator for Childhood and Youth Programs

The animator participates in the development and implementation of childhood and youth projects. They welcome and animate groups of children in educational activities. They design, propose, and implement animation and leisure activities within the community's educational project. They participate in the supervision of children during midday, after-school, and extracurricular times.

- Welcomes a group of children, young people;

- Designs, proposes, and implements animation and leisure activities within the educational project of the service or facility.

- Technical activities:

- Participation in the development of the pedagogical project;

- Animation of activities and accompaniment of the public received.

- Specific activities:

- Management of a reception area and budget to be adapted;

- Animation within the framework of transplanted classes;

- Implementation of school support;

- Organization of multimedia activities;

- Development of youth information and professional integration activities.

- KNOWLEDGE:

- Socio-professional knowledge;

- Missions, educational projects, service structuring, and shared values of animation;

- Network of socio-educational partners;

- Pedagogical knowledge related to the public;

- Methodology for constructing an activity cycle;

- Material and technical conditions of projects and activities;

- Rhythm of the child and adolescent;

- Awakening, sports, cultural, artistic activities;

- Techniques of animation and supervision;

- Characteristics of the adolescent public.

- General knowledge:

- Local geographical, socio-economic, and cultural context;

- Public territorial function and communities;

- Orientations and organization of the community;

- Public accounting.
