Nurse America is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Watertown, NY. This role is ideal for OR nurses with strong perioperative experience who can function confidently in a fast-paced surgical environment while maintaining strict sterile technique and patient safety standards.

• Knowledge of OR instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique

• Safe patient positioning and lift utilization

• Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation

• Familiarity with standard OR clinical equipment

• Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room RN experience

• Active New York State RN License

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• BLS required | ACLS preferred

• Nurses without recent OR experience must complete and pass the AORN Perioperative 101 Program (6 months)

• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience preferred

• Preceptorship, charge, or leadership experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-acuity situations
